Whitstable Choral Society

The Whitstable Choral Society promotes at least four concerts a year in a number of local venues¬†including a concert with traditional music and carols in St. Alphege Church, Whitstable in December. The Society performs a wide variety of choral music which, in recent years, has included Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana”, Dvorak’s “Stabat Mater”, and Requiems by Brahms and Mozart. The Society’s musical director is David Flood, who is Organist and Master of Choristers at Canterbury Cathedral.
